I started machine knitting in the early eighties, I quickly realized that I would need to find out a considerable amount more than the instruction books could tell me if I was to achieve the high standards I was looking for, so began my enthusiasm to learn as much as I could. My husband and I opened our first Knitting Machine shop in March 1985. Soon after my husband started the long learning process of being trained as a knitting machine engineer.
